Description
Lincoln Electric System is soliciting bids for four three-pole, gang-operated 115kV capacitor bank switchers for back-to-back switching and fault-clearing applications on a 115kV bus containing four 43 MVAR capacitor banks. Each switcher must include an interrupting device, motor-operated mechanism, shunt-trip device, supporting steel structure, pre-insertion resistors, auxiliary contacts, insulators, grounding provisions, and all required accessories and spare parts. The equipment must meet specified electrical, mechanical, seismic, environmental, testing, SF6, and applicable industry-standard requirements. Bidders must be currently engaged in designing and manufacturing this type of capacitor switcher, with at least five years of continuous design and production experience and at least 50 identical units supplied in the United States. The bid must include complete descriptive and dimensional information, exceptions to the specifications, warranty terms and pricing, and the completed bid proposal sheet. Delivery is required by March 1, 2028. The successful bidder must also complete the Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form.
