Description
New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is soliciting bids for general construction at Humphrey Nature Center in Letchworth State Park. The project includes construction of two stone-clad columns with bronze plaques and a heavy timber trellis recognizing donors who supported construction of the nature center. The engineer’s estimated construction cost is $237,082 to $320,758. Bids must be submitted by email as PDF attachments, with the contract number and “BID SUBMISSION” in the subject line; attachments are limited to 20 MB. A scanned bid security in the amount of $13,950 is required with the bid. The apparent low bidder must provide contractor registration certificates for subcontractors, and the successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and labor-and-material/payment bonds. The bid must also include the signed Gender-Based Violence and the Workplace Certification or an explanatory statement if the bidder cannot make the certification. MWBE participation goals are 7% MBE and 23% WBE, and the SDVOB goal is 6%.
