Description
The University at Buffalo is soliciting comprehensive services for non-radioactive RCRA and non-RCRA hazardous waste generated across its campuses. The scope includes providing transportation equipment and labels; coordinating waste characterization and manifests; loading and directly transporting waste to approved treatment, storage, and disposal facilities; issuing final disposal documentation; supporting waste minimization and recycling; and providing emergency spill response assistance. The contractor must maintain applicable USEPA, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, U.S. Department of Transportation, and other required permits and registrations, and use properly trained and qualified personnel and compliant transporters and disposal facilities. Proposals will be evaluated on technical merit and cost, weighted 70% and 30%, respectively, with best value as the basis for award. The agreement term is five years. The proposal must clearly address each RFP requirement and explain how the bidder will provide the specified services.
