Description
The City of Buffalo Department of Public Works is soliciting sealed unit-price bids for improvements to Parkside Avenue between Amherst Street and Hertel Avenue. The work includes pavement milling and overlay with spot full-depth repairs; closed-drainage replacement and improvements; curb bumpouts and a rapid-flashing-beacon pedestrian crossing; ADA ramps; reconfiguration of the Parkside Avenue and Linden Avenue intersection with replacement of the traffic signal and related infrastructure; structural-wall construction or extension; landscaping; fire-hydrant replacement and relocation; signs and pavement markings; surveying; and maintenance and protection of traffic, including existing traffic signals. This is a Federal Aid project requiring compliance with NYSDOT Standard Specifications and applicable federal requirements. The solicitation requires a completed Bid Form, Non-Collusive Bidding and Disbarment Certifications, Lobbying Certifications, a DBE Participation Package, the CONR 80LL Bidder's List, and proof of NYSDOL Certificate of Registration. The DBE goal is 0%, with no MBE, WBE, or SDVOB goals; EEO employment goals are 7.7% minority employment and 6.9% women employment. Bids may be delivered or mailed to City Hall Room 502 in Buffalo by the stated deadline.
