Description
The University at Buffalo is soliciting bids from qualified firms to provide high-quality carbon offsets generated by eligible projects involving the destruction of ozone-depleting substances. Bidders may propose offsets from no more than three separate projects and must separately identify pricing for each project on Attachment A: Pricing Page; alternative pricing documents will not be considered. Pricing must be firm and all-inclusive, expressed in U.S. dollars per metric ton of carbon dioxide equivalent, and must include all costs to furnish and retire the offsets on the University's behalf, including administrative, registry, transaction, and other associated fees. Bidders should base pricing on an estimated quantity of 43,000 offsets; this quantity is solely for bid preparation and evaluation and does not guarantee a minimum purchase. The resulting agreement will have a one-year term and will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total price.
