Description
Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC, the Management and Operating Contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy-owned Idaho National Laboratory, is seeking expressions of interest from qualified vendors capable of providing heavy equipment rentals on an as-needed basis. Required equipment categories include rollers, soil compactors, dozers, motor graders, excavators and attachments, scrapers, articulated haul trucks, wheel loaders and compatible forks, water equipment, and rubber-track dump trucks. Vendors must provide delivery and pickup when requested, with standard delivery timelines not exceeding one week and repair or replacement of malfunctioning equipment within 24 hours of notification. Equipment must be safe, well maintained, and compliant with OSHA, ANSI, and applicable manufacturer standards, with inspection records, manuals, tags, and capacity charts provided as required. Responses must describe fleet capabilities, availability, delivery and emergency-response capabilities, maintenance and inspection practices, safety and security compliance, quality certifications, rental terms and pricing structures, and relevant references. The response is limited to 15 pages in PDF format, and selected respondents may later be invited to participate in a formal Request for Proposal process.
