Description
The City of Council Bluffs is soliciting bids for the rental of two motor graders from qualified and insured suppliers, with the option to rent a third grader if needed. Each grader will be evaluated and awarded independently. The supplier must provide all necessary personnel, supervision, materials, equipment, delivery, and pickup, and each unit must be in excellent operating condition and fully serviced upon delivery. The graders will be kept at the Public Works Operations Complex and used only for snow and ice removal. The rental term is November 2, 2026, through March 26, 2027, with monthly pricing for December through February and weekly pricing for the partial months of November and March. Bidders must provide equipment specifications, year/make/model information, drivetrain selection where applicable, original equipment value, rental pricing, and delivery and pickup fees. Electronic submission through the IonWave solicitation portal is required; hard-copy submissions are not accepted. A bid bond or cashier’s check of at least 5% is required for bids exceeding $40,000.
