Description
Wyomissing Borough is soliciting bids for stormwater improvements on Wayne Avenue. The work includes furnishing and installing two custom 10-foot-wide-throat inlets, approximately 16 linear feet of 18-inch SLCPP storm pipe, traffic controls, road restoration, grass restoration, mobilization, and site preparation. The plans also require excavation, utility coordination, temporary traffic protection, erosion and sediment controls, disposal of demolition debris, and restoration of disturbed areas. The project is subject to Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements, PennDOT specifications, and PennDOT prequalification requirements. Bidders must submit a lump-sum base bid with the listed unit-price items and complete the required bid forms and qualification materials. A 10% bid security is required, and the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds, insurance documentation, and other post-award forms. The contract provides 150 calendar days for substantial completion after the contract times commence.
