Description
Wyomissing Borough is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation of an existing 24-inch storm pipe within the Woodland Plaza Apartments parking lot. The work includes furnishing and installing approximately 513 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), including cleaning, pre- and post-installation CCTV inspection, bypass pumping or flow diversion as needed, service reconnections, testing, traffic control, site restoration, and warranty work. The installed liner must be continuous, jointless, watertight, structurally sound, and designed for a service life of at least 50 years. Bidders must be PennDOT-prequalified contractors and comply with Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements. The bid package requires a 10% bid security and identifies qualifications, experience, professional-engineer-certified CIPP design calculations, product and installation information, safety and quality-control plans, public-notification and odor-control plans, and other technical submittals. The contract provides for 150 calendar days of work, with an estimated start date of December 21, 2026, and an estimated completion date of May 20, 2027.
