Description
Wake County is soliciting sealed proposals for labor, materials, and equipment to renovate Historic Yates Mill County Park. The work includes renovating the existing Visitor Center; constructing a new Maintenance Facility and storage yard; constructing a picnic shelter and plaza; improving parking, including bus parking spaces; improving sidewalks throughout the site; constructing overlooks along the pond; and completing other miscellaneous improvements. The contractor must refer to the Project Manual and associated Construction Drawings for the full scope of work. Complete contract documents may be inspected at Kimley-Horn and Associates, requested electronically from Melissa Brand and Seth Brown, or obtained electronically through Dodge Construction Network and the North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development. Printed copies may be purchased from Accent Imaging. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the park's Visitor Center Classroom.
