Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the National Cemetery Administration, plans to procure construction of a single-floor, approximately 500-square-foot covered office space with two permanent workstations and flexible open space for future needs. The contractor must provide all labor, management, materials, tools, equipment, and services required to complete the work in accordance with the forthcoming statement of work, specifications, drawings, and related construction documents, including associated sitework and compliance with National Cemetery Administration standards. The project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The contractor must complete construction, submittals, reviews, quality control, punch-list corrections, cleanup, invoicing, and closeout documentation within 180 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The procurement is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside; eligible firms must be verified in the applicable Small Business Administration database and registered in the System for Award Management. A bid bond will be required, and performance and payment bonds may be required of the awarded contractor. This notice is a presolicitation and is not yet an invitation to submit a bid; the full solicitation and construction documents are expected to be issued separately.
