Description
Harris County is soliciting a single prime contractor for the renovation of Level 17 at 1019 Congress, Annex 46, to create four district courtrooms and associated judicial chambers, jury spaces, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, waiting areas, and support spaces. The scope includes design coordination, engineering, demolition coordination, structural modifications, architectural finishes, custom courtroom millwork, acoustical partitions, MEP systems, fire protection, electrical and lighting systems, technology and audiovisual rough-ins, security and access control systems, ADA/Texas Accessibility Standards compliance, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and closeout documentation. The estimated budget is $13,000,861. The solicitation requires a five percent bid bond or cashier's check, a 100 percent performance and/or payment bond after award, a mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit, prevailing-wage compliance, M/WBE utilization or documented good-faith efforts, safety-record certifications, insurance, and extensive technical, organizational, pricing, and qualifications information. Proposals must be uploaded through Bonfire, with a cashier's check physically delivered separately if that alternative bid guarantee is selected.
