Description
Maricopa County Department of Public Health is seeking one or more contractors to operate 24-hour, seven-day-per-week telephone services staffed by trained nurses. The scope includes receiving communicable-disease and public health emergency reports, transferring designated reports to public health personnel, maintaining call logs, submitting daily reports, and providing general county or disease-specific information. The contractor must also support public health emergencies, outbreaks, disasters, and pandemics by providing surge staffing, surveys and questionnaires, emergency telephone triage and treatment protocols, and medical doctors when required. Proposals must address the respondent’s approach, telephone system and capacity, surge staffing plans, qualifications and personnel, quality assurance, staff training, contingency hourly rates, exceptions, and the required attachments. The contract has a three-year initial term beginning January 1, 2027, with options for additional terms.
