Description
The State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is soliciting bids for improvements to the Miller and Turpin units at Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area. The scope includes furnishing one water control structure, installing an existing water control structure, and providing associated piping, equipment, labor, materials, mobilization, site preparation, demolition, dewatering, grading, compacted fill, backfilling, erosion-control measures, and related construction work. The plans identify a new Type A 6084 structure with a 60-inch HDPE outlet pipe and a new Type A 3660 structure with a 36-inch HDPE outlet pipe. Work also includes watertight pipe connections, select fill, filter fabric, concrete and reinforcing steel, safety grating, stoplogs, lifting hooks, and erosion-control rock. The contract term is up to three months. A mandatory in-person site visit is required, and a 5% bid bond must accompany the electronic bid; performance and payment bonds at 100% of the awarded contract amount are required after award.
