Description
Bernalillo County is establishing a multiple-award pool of qualified nonprofit organizations holding current 501(c)(3) status to support future capital projects and related professional services. Eligible categories are housing, behavioral health, economic development, public safety, and miscellaneous projects. Supported work may include social services, educational, health, community development, and other programs aligned with the County’s strategic goals. Capital outlay may cover qualifying long-term assets such as land, buildings, machinery, furniture, and equipment, but may not fund operating expenses, salaries, ordinary materials and supplies, events, publications, or retroactive reimbursements. Offerors must submit a detailed capital project application addressing professional and technical competence, organizational capacity and capability, past performance, references, and two letters of support. The response package also requires the County’s submittal letter, campaign contribution disclosure, unfair business practices disclosure, pay equity form, applicable preference certificates, insurance certificates, proof of 501(c)(3) status, and the Bernalillo County Capital Project Request Form. Proposals must be OCR-searchable PDFs uploaded through the County’s eProcurement portal. The anticipated agreement term is one year, while individual service requests will depend on approved capital grant funding and executed agreements.
