Description
The Fairbanks North Star Borough Health and Social Services Commission is offering FY 2027 Match Assistance Grants to nonprofit organizations providing essential human services within the borough. Funds may be used only as the required local match for a primary grant from another source, and applications must demonstrate the required match, the project’s community need, organizational capacity, budget, sustainability, and expected impact. Awards are limited to the amount of the required primary-grant match and may not exceed $35,000 per agency for the fiscal year; requests may not exceed 50% of the primary grant amount. The total funding available for Health and Social Services grants is stated as $342,894. Applicants must submit the completed checklist, Grant Application Summary (Form 1), Budget Summary (Form 2) and budget narrative, a project narrative, a copy of the primary-grant solicitation showing the match requirement, and current IRS nonprofit certification. Applications must be submitted electronically as one upload when possible. Insurance and financial-management documentation are required after award rather than at initial submission.
