Description
New York State, through Empire State Development, is soliciting applications from higher education and not-for-profit research institutions for matching funds to leverage resources from federal or private sources, including the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. To qualify, institutions must meet a minimum 2:1 matching requirement: for every dollar received from the state, the institution must secure at least two dollars from sources outside the institution, such as federal grants or private industry funds that remain in New York State. Institutional and other state funds are not eligible for the match. The program includes MWBE goals of 30% and an SDVOB goal of 0%.
