Description
The City of Lauderhill is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for turnkey renovation and replacement of ten municipal park playground areas. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, project management, engineering, permits, materials, equipment, transportation, tools, disposal, testing, inspections, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. The project includes replacement of aging playground equipment and improvements to safety, accessibility, aesthetics, durability, play value, and long-term maintenance. The contractor must provide playground systems, safety surfacing, shade structures, site furnishings, demolition, excavation, grading, drainage correction, base preparation, installation, testing, cleanup, restoration, and warranties. The bid requires a 5% bid bond or certified check, while 100% performance and payment bonds are required upon award. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and possible site visit will be held before the bid deadline.
