Description
Broward County seeks an open-end/indefinite-quantity solution consisting of mobile hotspot devices, 4G LTE-or-better data subscriptions, and a remote management dashboard. Devices must support at least 10 Wi-Fi connections and eight hours of use per charge. The platform must provide centralized device management, multi-carrier capability, suspension and reactivation controls, real-time alerts, unlimited data without time restrictions, CIPA-compliant customizable web filtering, firewall and threat-detection capabilities, malware and intrusion detection, SIM-jacking protection, and integration with the SirsiDynix Symphony library system through a Web Services API. The awarded vendor must provide hardware, subscriptions, implementation and deployment assistance, account management, training, pre-sales consultation, technical support for library patrons, and ongoing support for annual subscription renewals. Vendors must be the manufacturer or an authorized reseller, must interface directly with the manufacturer for subscription and support-plan registration, and may not use a business-to-business alternative reseller to fulfill orders. Orders must be processed within 21 days after receipt of a purchase order. The initial term is one year with up to two additional one-year renewal terms. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on total bid price, including hardware and annual subscription pricing; the management dashboard is to be provided at no additional cost.
