Description
Broward County Aviation Department is developing a solicitation for up to two consultants to provide environmental planning and consulting services at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and North Perry Airport. The scope includes environmental permitting and agency coordination; NEPA analyses and documentation; sustainability, resiliency, energy conservation, and resource-use planning; technical reviews; grant application support; aviation-related training; and on-call or on-site planning support. The scope also includes Noise Compatibility Program implementation services, including Part 150 planning and administration, noise mitigation and monitoring, Noise Exposure Map updates, stakeholder and community outreach, acoustical consulting, property acquisition analysis, program cost validation, and coordination with local, state, and federal agencies. The draft describes an open-end, five-year initial contract with no guaranteed amount of work. The opportunity is explicitly a future solicitation advertisement and its dates and requirements are subject to change.
