Description
The City of Wilton Manors is soliciting bids from qualified and licensed electrical contractors for a complete electrical service remodel at Justin Flippen Park. Base Bid A includes removing and replacing the corroded electrical service equipment and riser; bringing the system into compliance with current National Electrical Code standards; installing a new 200-amp meter can, load center, grounding system, service receptacle, generator interlock, contactors, timeclocks, conduits, wiring, four garden power posts, four post-top fixtures, and twelve weatherproof GFCI receptacles; reconnecting existing loads; coordinating with Florida Power & Light; obtaining permits and inspections; and restoring disturbed areas. Base Bid B is an alternate requiring separate pricing to furnish and install four LED pagoda-style post-top fixtures, one on each power post, with minimum 40W-equivalent output, 3000K color temperature, wet-location rating, mounting hardware, conductors, and connections. The contract will begin upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed, with 60 calendar days for total contract performance. Bidders must submit a bid bond equal to five percent of the total bid price and proof of required insurance, including general liability, automobile liability, professional/errors and omissions, and employee dishonesty/theft coverage.
