Description
Fulton County Government is seeking a qualified vendor to provide animal necropsy services for Fulton County Animal Services and the Fulton County Police Department. Services must be performed by, or under the direct supervision of, a licensed, board-certified veterinary pathologist and must support potential animal cruelty, neglect, or rabies-vector investigations. The scope includes secure intake and chain-of-custody tracking; comprehensive external and internal examinations; organ weights; photographic documentation of lesions or trauma; collection and processing of samples for histopathology, toxicology, microbiology, and PCR testing; and formal, signed reports containing findings, diagnoses, cause of death, comments, and clinical interpretations. The agreement is a purchase-order term not exceeding 12 months, with no renewal option, and may not exceed $100,000. Sample bid line items include accession fees, legal necropsies, fat analysis, bone marrow evaluation, fecal flotation, and related services.
