Description
St. Joseph Public Schools is soliciting bids for demolition and complete removal of buildings, structures, scoreboards, specified perimeter fencing, and concrete or masonry pillars at Wells Field. The concession stand adjacent to State Street must remain undamaged and is excluded from the demolition scope. The contractor must safely disconnect and permanently terminate active plumbing, electrical, water, and sewer connections; haul away and legally dispose of demolition debris and waste; obtain required local permits; and backfill, level, grade, topsoil, and seed all disturbed areas to restore uniform turf. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walkthrough is scheduled for October 2, 2026. Bids must use the attached bid form, include two signed copies, and include a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check equal to 5% of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide a 100% labor, material, and performance bond.
