CR 22/Orpha Drive and CR 37 Intersection Improvements

Description
Elkhart County is soliciting bids for intersection improvements at CR 22/Orpha Drive and CR 37 under Elkhart County Project No. 25003. The selected contractor must provide the labor and materials necessary to complete the work and submit an itemized proposal using the County's standard bid sheets. The bid sheet must be the first page of the submission and include an authorized contractor signature. Bidders must be currently pre-qualified by the Indiana Department of Transportation and submit proof of pre-qualification with the bid, unless qualifying documents are already on file with the County. Each bid must include a non-collusion affidavit and a satisfactory bid bond equal to 10% of the bid. Work may begin April 5, 2027, must maintain traffic restrictions during the specified school-session period, must reopen the roadway to traffic by August 6, 2027, and must be completed by September 3, 2027. Liquidated damages are $3,000 per day per item for delays.
