Description
The Elkhart County Drug-Free Partnership is accepting grant proposals for 2027 funding. Eligible activities align with three funding categories: prevention and education, intervention and treatment, and criminal-justice services and activities. The documented priorities include evidence-based alcohol, tobacco, and other-drug prevention programs; community education; treatment and recovery-support services, including scholarships and assistance with transportation, counseling, child care, and related barriers; and law-enforcement drug-interdiction training, equipment, patrols, and programming. The 2027 funding timeline states that proposals are submitted through an online, time-stamped application and that funds are drawn quarterly, with equipment grants funded in January.
