Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service requires contractor services for pre-sequencing quality control of USDA-supplied wheat DNA libraries and whole-genome sequencing of twelve libraries using AVITI24 150 bp paired-end High Output flow cells or an equivalent platform. The contractor must achieve at least 1.5 billion reads per lane and greater than 90% of bases at Q30 or above. The contractor must provide receipt confirmation, pre-sequencing QC findings, demultiplexed FASTQ files, FastQC reports, and sequencing instrument or run-quality reports. Deliverables must be securely transferred within 14 calendar days of sample receipt. The anticipated award is a firm-fixed-price contract for the period from September 28, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with one award planned under a lowest-price technically acceptable evaluation. No security clearance is required.
