Description
Housing Assistance Management Enterprise, an instrumentality of the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City, in partnership with the Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake, seeks qualifications from multidisciplinary architectural and engineering teams for redevelopment of an existing community-center site into a mixed-use campus. The anticipated project includes approximately 55 to 85 affordable housing units, a multi-story community services building, outdoor amenities, and potential healthcare, behavioral health, education, cultural, retail, and community-service spaces. The selected team will provide feasibility and site assessments; programming and master planning; conceptual, schematic, and detailed design; construction documents; cost estimating and budgeting; permitting and regulatory coordination; bidding and contractor-selection support; construction administration and quality control; and post-construction documentation and closeout services. Submissions must address firm and team qualifications, similar project experience, approach and methodology, team composition, preliminary fee ranges, insurance coverage, and at least three client references. The project may be funded in whole or in part by HUD and is subject to applicable federal procurement requirements.
