Description
The 502d Contracting Squadron, on behalf of the 502d Civil Engineer Squadron, is conducting market research for the turnkey removal and replacement of 48 ceiling-suspended, 1.25-ton dedicated outside air system water-source heat pumps. The replacement units must meet specified capacity, airflow, horizontal ceiling-plenum configuration, right-hand return arrangement, access-clearance, low-global-warming-potential refrigerant, preheat-coil, hot-gas reheat or bypass, and safety-control requirements. WaterFurnace model UBH015R is identified as the brand-name reference, with equal products permitted. The contractor would furnish all personnel, equipment, rigging, materials, and supervision; remove existing units; install new units, condensate piping, valves, strainers, flexible hose kits, ductwork connections, and control wiring; and complete controls integration, commissioning, and operation. The requirement is projected as a firm-fixed-price purchase order for a commodity buy with incidental removal and installation services. Responses must address equipment availability, technical compliance, dimensions and weight, refrigerant compliance, EPA Section 608 certification, lead times, pricing structure, warranties, and the feasibility of a 275-calendar-day performance period.
