Description
Iowa's Area Education Agencies are soliciting proposals for a statewide purchasing program supplying cut paper and envelopes to eligible members, including accredited public and nonpublic K-12 schools, area education agencies, and other approved entities. The program requires statewide service capability, direct ordering, delivery, invoicing, customer support, marketing, and assistance to member schools. No quantities are guaranteed, although prior winter order history included substantial volumes of letter, legal, pastel, and tabloid paper, plus envelopes. Products must meet detailed quality and packaging specifications, including minimum brightness and opacity requirements, moisture-resistant ream wrapping, reusable cartons, compliant wood sourcing, and delivery requirements. Vendors must submit pricing, complete the vendor worksheet and signature page, provide three K-12 references, and address sales, ordering, support, environmental responsibility, geographic capabilities, and eligible-member coverage. The awarded vendor will pay a 1% administrative fee on Iowa contract sales and provide sales reporting.
