Description
Kern High School District is soliciting bids for portable restroom facilities and services at district sites as needed for construction, sporting, and special events. The contractor must provide standard and ADA-compliant skid-mounted units, with and without automatic lighting, including concealed leak-proof waste storage, locking doors, toilet paper and seat dispensers, hoses, power cords, and all accessories needed for operation. The contractor must supply personnel and sanitation products; perform daily servicing before events; remove waste, inspect and maintain units, restock paper products, monitor waste levels, and provide emergency response within one hour when requested. Pricing is requested per unit for 28-day periods, plus hourly emergency service and delivery charges. The bid must include a company history, three customer references, the bid schedule, and an Environmental Health Permit. The initial term is one year, with up to four additional one-year extensions by mutual written consent.
