Description
Kern County is seeking six new and unused portable trailer yard ramps, specified as Bluff 20SYS8436L or an equivalent. Each ramp must be suitable for loading materials with a powered industrial truck into a standard 53-foot trailer and have a minimum 20,000-pound capacity, minimum 6,000-pound weight, 36-foot length including a six-foot level-off, 84-inch overall width, all-steel construction, serrated steel grate surface, safety guardrails or side curbs, solid rubber pneumatic tires, hydraulic operation with two cylinders, safety chains, a trailer-support bridge feature, and an included ramp clamp. The pricing response must identify the make and model, warranty, delivery availability, unit and total pricing, taxes, delivery costs, additional fees, and any exceptions or delivery details. The vendor must complete and return the quotation request and specification documents, initial each specification page, and sign the final page. Warranty or service work performed by the vendor under the vendor's or manufacturer's warranty must be handled within Kern County at the vendor's expense. The County may award to one vendor or split the award among multiple vendors.
