Description
The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority is soliciting a contractor for a single-prime, stipulated-price renovation of an existing transit hub. The work includes reconfiguration and renovation of administrative and business areas, selective demolition, shell-space preparation for future tenants, replacement of interior finishes, doors, storefronts, glazing, millwork, casework, flooring, ceilings, painting, signage, and restroom improvements. The scope also includes modifications and new work for HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution and lighting, low-voltage/data infrastructure, fire alarm, access control, security integration, and expansion of the existing sprinkler system to first-floor business areas. Optional alternates include future tenant buildout, community room enhancements, acoustic wall panels, additional security improvements, and additional flooring replacement. The project manual identifies prevailing-wage requirements and Buy America/Build America compliance certifications. Fire protection and ICT systems are identified as deferred design items to be issued by addendum.
