Description
The City of Toledo is soliciting a lump-sum construction bid for demolition of the Collins Park bath house, junior pool, wading pool, pool infrastructure, concrete deck, pavements, and related structures. The work includes removal and disposal of debris, crushing and placing suitable onsite materials, hauling unsuitable materials offsite, clearing and grubbing, backfilling, grading, stormwater pollution prevention measures, and final site restoration. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements, a 60-day performance period, a 5% bid guaranty, and required insurance, workers’ compensation documentation, City paperwork, project paperwork, and bid forms. A Project Labor Agreement applies to qualifying awards of $100,000 or more. Performance and payment bonds are required as specified in the solicitation and are generally due after award or contract execution.
