Description
The City seeks two new 2027 medium-duty ambulance chassis and complete remount and refurbishment of two existing ambulance patient-care modules. Work includes removing the modules from their current chassis; inspecting, refurbishing, and installing them on the new chassis; and providing associated frame modifications, mounting systems, electrical integration, exterior refinishing and graphics, emergency lighting, interior and patient-compartment upgrades, and related equipment and materials. The completed vehicles must be operational and road-ready and meet applicable ambulance safety standards, including relevant CAAS and AMD testing requirements. The bid must include an itemized proposal covering both vehicles, including chassis, remount services, refurbishment, equipment, freight, inspection, and any trade-in credit. Bidders must identify exceptions to the specifications and include applicable warranties and an anticipated completion schedule. The desired delivery timeframe is approximately 6–9 months from the start of production. The successful bidder must take possession of both vehicles within seven days after the purchase order is issued.
