Description
The City of Toledo is soliciting prices for disposal of asbestos-containing and non-asbestos demolition debris generated by its demolition program. The selected contractor must provide an Ohio EPA-approved disposal site or sites, accept approximately 3,500 tons annually, maintain reasonable access for the City's hauling equipment, assume responsibility for debris after delivery, and provide signed weekly dumping slips showing the date, time, vehicle identification, and weight. Pricing is requested per ton, including all fees, for both asbestos-containing and non-asbestos debris. The contractor must obtain and maintain all required EPA permits, licenses, and approvals, including an EPA CDD License, and comply with applicable environmental, zoning, and other laws. The proposal must include disposal-site locations and maps, addresses, operating hours, site dimensions and acreage, annual minimum or maximum tonnage, qualifications and relevant experience, and pricing. The contract is for one year with three one-year renewal options. A bid guaranty is required, and the solicitation requires electronic submission through the City's PlanetBids portal.
