Description
The project is a single-prime construction contract to build a new exterior hydraulic passenger elevator and shaft connecting the transit hub’s basement, first floor, and roof parking level. Work includes associated structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing construction; elevator equipment and finishes; accessibility features; and related site and building modifications. The plans also call for demolition of the existing exterior loading dock area and associated elements. The bid requires a 10% bid bond and submission of the completed lobbying certification and non-collusion declaration. Price, experience and past performance, schedule, and safety record plan are evaluation criteria; experience and past performance account for 25% of the score.
