Description
The City of Toledo Police Northwest Ohio Bomb Squad seeks a digital X-ray scanning system for imaging suspicious packages and items for explosives. The requested system includes a detector measuring 10 × 12 to 12 × 14 inches, weighing no more than 4 pounds with its battery, and integrating with XTK software. Specifications include a minimum IP67 rating, resistance to typical explosive ordnance disposal operational shock, vibration, and drops, automatic exposure detection, border dead space no greater than 3 mm, pixel size no greater than 100 microns, integrated Wi-Fi, and onboard storage for at least 200 images. The system must include a detachable handle, adjustable X-ray panel stand, at least two batteries and a charger, and cables needed to connect the panel to a computer. The manufacturer must provide 24/7/365 customer support. Bids are evaluated on the lowest and best offer, including price, past work or experience with the City, and applicable local preference. The bid package requires a 2.5% bid guaranty and a vendor-signed contract; payment and performance bonds are identified as post-award requirements only if applicable.
