Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command is preparing draft MIL-PRF-XX751, covering corrosion-resistant austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum stainless steel manufactured using wire arc directed energy deposition. The effort is intended to accommodate varied design solutions and processes and encourage a broad vendor base. This is a special notice and explicitly is not a solicitation. Interested parties may request a copy of the draft document by email and provide comments during the stated review period. A final document is expected to be available through ASSIST Online after completion.
