Description
The Lewis County Board of Education is soliciting commercial moving services for the relocation and transport of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies among designated school facilities and administrative buildings. The scope includes loading, transportation, unloading, and handling of desks, chairs, filing cabinets, shelving, boxed supplies, and instructional equipment. The contractor must provide moving equipment, padding, shrink wrap, dollies, ramps, and secured box trucks, while protecting flooring, doorways, and interior walls at pickup and delivery locations. Services will be scheduled during standard operating hours, weekends, or district break periods as mutually agreed with the district facilities coordinator. Bidders must be licensed and insured, provide a valid West Virginia Business License and Motor Carrier Authority, and submit at least three professional or commercial references demonstrating similar institutional or multisite moving experience.
