Description
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is soliciting proposals for snow removal services at its Saint-Hyacinthe laboratory. The contractor must clear parking lots, sidewalks, exits, and emergency exits; move snow to designated areas; apply abrasives after snow clearing or when icy conditions require treatment; provide and remove entry markers; and mechanically sweep excess abrasives from parking areas and sidewalks in the spring. Services must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with snow removal completed by 7:00 a.m. when at least 5 cm accumulates overnight and response beginning within one hour of a service request. The initial performance period is November 1, 2026, through May 30, 2027, with up to four additional one-year option periods. Proposals must include a technical offer, financial offer, Offer Submission Form, and Offeror Declaration Form. The mandatory technical criterion requires at least 24 months of commercial or industrial snow and ice removal experience acquired during the previous 72 months. A mandatory site visit is required, and award will be based on the lowest evaluated price among technically compliant offers.
