Description
The City of Ellsworth is seeking proposals from qualified property owners or authorized agents to lease an existing, fully enclosed building located within three miles of Ellsworth City Hall. The facility would support a shared municipal operations concept for school transportation, parks and recreation, and water department functions, including storage and light servicing or cleaning of buses, vans, transportation vehicles, landscaping equipment, and other public works assets, along with administrative and break-room space. The proposed facility must provide at least 20,000 square feet of usable interior space, accommodate full-size school buses, include or support appropriately sized overhead doors, provide office and break-room capacity for at least 35 employees, and meet applicable building, fire, zoning, and ADA requirements. Proposals should address utilities, HVAC, internet, parking, lighting, snow removal, maintenance responsibilities, proposed lease rates and terms, renewal options, included services, escalation clauses, code deficiencies, and required improvements. Submissions must include property ownership or leasing authorization, building and site information, available plans and photographs, compliance details, proposed lease terms and costs, and known deficiencies or improvements.
