Description
The New York City Housing Authority is soliciting a development-specific requirement contract for installation of vinyl composition floor tile in occupied and move-out apartments at Clason Point Houses. The scope includes removal of existing non-asbestos floor coverings, including vinyl composition tile, linoleum, self-adhesive floor tile, carpet, ceramic tile, and wood flooring, when removal is separately required in conjunction with new tile installation. The amendment clarifies that removal-only line item 067001087 must be priced separately from installation line items. The contract term is three years from the award date or issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with up to two one-year renewal options. No bid security is required. Bidders and identified subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i, and bidders must be approved through the NYCHA Tile Pre-Qualification List. Section 3 REO and OEO plans must be submitted through eComply by the bid deadline and must not be included in the iSupplier bid submission. The work is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements.
