Description
The City of New York, through the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), is seeking proposals for Justice-Involved Supportive Housing (JISH). This program aims to provide permanent supportive housing units for adults (18+) who frequently cycle through jail and shelter, and who have a mental illness and/or substance use disorder. The program goals include providing rapid access to housing, comprehensive case management to link tenants to health and behavioral health services, and support to successfully maintain housing and integrate into the community. Services will be accessible in JISH apartment units, program sites, and the community. Vendors must have an approved PASSPort Health and Human Services (HHS) PQL qualification status to respond. Additional requirements include compliance with Labor Peace Agreements, Identifying Information Rider, and Earned Safe and Sick Time Act provisions.
