Description
The Wellesley Housing Authority is requesting quotes from qualified, licensed, and insured contractors to provide annual floor covering services, including full installation, maintenance, on-call repairs, and related services at the Authority’s housing developments. The scope includes installation of vinyl composition tile, sheet vinyl, vinyl plank flooring, subfloor underlayment, and four-inch cove base, with labor, materials, adhesives, transitions, preparation, fitting, and cleanup included as applicable. The contract is for one year, from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027. Pricing must be provided for recurring unit flooring installations, subfloor underlayment by square foot, and cove base by linear foot; repair work will be performed as needed based on submitted pricing. Contractors must employ appropriately licensed personnel, comply with OSHA and lead-training requirements, prevailing-wage and certified-payroll requirements, and provide required insurance. Five business references for projects completed within the past five years are required. Performance and payment bonds are required only for contracts exceeding $25,000.
