Description
San Mateo County seeks comprehensive moving services for office furnishings and technology equipment, including desks, chairs, filing cabinets, computers, peripherals, and modular office pods. Work may involve moves within a building or between buildings in the County and includes pre-move surveys and planning, project management, skilled moving labor, protective packing, transportation, and disassembly and reassembly or setup as needed. Equipment must be operational at the destination, and the contractor must provide post-move support and surveys, maintain insurance, assume liability for damage to County property, and follow applicable safety, transportation, environmental, and County security requirements. The proposal requires a technical response addressing minimum qualifications, project approach, work tasks and milestones, firm and team qualifications, and references. A separate fee proposal is required, including hourly rates and project costs by task; the provided template includes a sample move of office pods and chairs with disconnection, partial disassembly, reassembly, and reconnection. The agreement term is five years.
