Description
The County of Union is requesting proposals from qualified licensed psychologists to provide psychological evaluation services during 2027. The scope includes pre-employment evaluations for County investigators, police officers, and sheriff's officers; fitness-for-duty evaluations for investigators, police officers, sheriff's officers, and nonsworn personnel; psychological evaluations for police officer candidates at the John H. Stamler Police Academy; and disputed-evaluation support, including reports, documentation, and expert testimony in related legal proceedings. Fitness-for-duty evaluations must be scheduled within one to three business days of the initial request, with verbal recommendations within 24 hours of evaluation and written recommendations within five to seven business days. Proposers must demonstrate at least 10 years of experience as a licensed psychologist and at least five years serving Union County or other governmental entities, provide personnel qualifications and recent references, submit a technical proposal and detailed fee schedule, and comply with the County's required forms, licensing, insurance, and professional-services contract terms.
