Description
The National Park Service is soliciting quotations for Phase II volcanic debris removal and cleaning services at Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. The base requirement covers removal of tephra, ash, cinders, Pele’s hair, moss, and related buildup from designated roofs, gutters, downspouts, and photovoltaic/solar panels, including pressure washing and debris collection. Optional work includes pressure washing building exteriors, removing debris from paved and hardscape surfaces, and removing debris from landscaped and turf areas across 43 locations. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, personal protective equipment, safety controls, and invasive-species inspection costs. Requirements include site-specific safety planning, fall protection for roof work, work-zone and public-access controls, protection of historic and Government property, quality control, and compliance with park invasive-pest prevention procedures. The base work is to be completed within 60 calendar days after award, with options exercised in writing by the Contracting Officer.
