Description
The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, testing, materials, permits, and related services to construct a reinforced concrete foundation for a government-furnished 40-foot by 8-foot containerized laboratory and install one government-furnished 18-foot by 60-foot prefabricated metal carport. The concrete assembly includes a raised container pad, continuous waterproof six-inch water moat, perimeter sidewalk, reinforcement, aggregate base, excavation, grading, drainage, joints, curing, and a one-inch Schedule 40 PVC water-supply rough-in with hose bib or spigot. The contractor must also provide the carport footing, reinforcement, embedded anchors, anchorage, structural connection to the existing carport, weatherproofing, fascia, gutters, six PVC downspouts, and required corrosion protection, grounding, and bonding improvements. The project is a 100% small-business set-aside with an estimated magnitude of $100,000 to $250,000. Quotations must include pricing for all schedule-of-items line items and a narrative of at least five similar projects completed within the last five years; the narrative is limited to five pages and must address project scope, role, performance dates, contract value, customer and reference information, and subcontracting. A bid guarantee is required for quotations exceeding $150,000, and performance and payment bonds are required at 100% of the original contract price for awards exceeding $150,000. The work is subject to Davis-Bacon requirements and includes required design verification, construction submittals, safety planning, quality control, cleanup, and closeout documentation.
