The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition Service is soliciting a total small-business set-aside for modernization of the electronic physical access control system at its Denver Regional Office. The contractor must furnish and install nine LenelS2 Signo PIV card readers, Lenel controllers and panels, power supplies, door-position switches, request-to-exit detectors, electrified strikes, a magnetic lock, emergency exit hardware, and associated plenum-rated and OSDP cabling across the facility's fourth and ninth floors. The scope includes physical installation, cabling, panel and device wiring, programming and integration with the USDA enterprise LenelS2 OnGuard system, configuration of access levels and alarms, functional testing and commissioning, written test and compliance documentation, as-built drawings, staff training if required, and technical support during commissioning. Personnel must hold current LenelS2 Silver Certification or higher and have at least three years of LenelS2 installation experience within the past four years; contractor personnel must also be able to undergo USDA fingerprinting and background checks. Products must be new, exact specified brand-name items, traceable to HID or an authorized distributor, and accompanied by required certificates of conformance and supporting documentation.
