Description
The School Board of Brevard County, Florida, is soliciting bids for continuous remote monitoring of its existing digital fire alarm systems and intranet-connected equipment. The contractor must receive alarm, supervisory, fault, and communication-failure signals through a listed central station; provide fire notification and dispatch to appropriate authorities and School Board personnel; and provide email notifications for supervisory, fault, and network communication failures. Services must be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and comply with applicable NFPA requirements and the Underwriters Laboratories Listed Central Station classification. Bidders must provide a current UL Listed Central Station Fire Alarm – Full Service (UUFX) Certificate, Central Station Alarm Association membership certificate, occupational business license, at least three references, and qualifying experience involving similar fire alarm monitoring services, including at least one project monitoring 40 or more facilities under a single contract. Responses must be submitted electronically in the designated procurement portal using permitted file formats, with all required documents completed and signed by an authorized representative.
